A better option for your evening cravings! (Recipe time)

In order to eat something for evening snacks, we often end up eating a lot of junk or unhealthy food, which if eaten on a regular basis can lead to several diseases, gain in body weight and what not. According to a survey, 29% of teenagers are obese in India and this is all due to an unhealthy lifestyle. So a few days back, I came upon a simple recipe and tried my hands on it. It is basically a sandwich stuffed with curd and lots of veggies. Trust me it is so tasty and refreshing that you’ll want to eat it everyday and the best part is that it is healthy too. The second best part is the curd that is the replacement of mayonnaise or cheese and believe me one cannot even recognize! And on the second hand, if you’re a parent and your child shows tantrums while eating those veggies this would be a nice way to hide those vegetables and they wouldn’t even know. And the third best part is its cooking and preparation time, i.e, very less.

So lets quickly come to the recipe of “CURD SANDWICH

Ingredients– Hung curd, Brown bread, freshly chopped veggies, salt and red chilli powder.

Step 1– Firstly, chop all your veggies in very small pieces

Step 2– Take the curd in a bowl and then mix it with all the veggies.

Step 3– Now, sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder according to your preference and mix it all again.

Step 4– Take one slice of bread and then with help of a spoon spread the mix on the it and place another slice of bread in the top of it.

Step 5– Lastly, brush oil on your pan and place the sandwich on it and flip it when turned light brown. Cook both sides and your delicious Curd sandwich is ready! You can enjoy it with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
